Terms of Service & Privacy
These terms apply to events run by NY Salsa Company. By RSVPing to an event you agree to them.
RSVPs & payment
Some events are free to RSVP and some are paid. A free RSVP holds your spot — there is nothing to pay. For a paid event, your spot is confirmed once payment is received. Prices are shown before you pay and include everything; there are no additional fees.
Card payments are processed by Queens Plaza Studios LLC; charges may appear on your statement as Queens Plaza Studios / NY SALSA. Payment is handled by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.
Changes, cancellations & refunds
Free RSVPs can be dropped at any time — just don’t come, though an email to let us know is appreciated so someone else can take the spot.
Paid tickets are non-refundable within 48 hours of the event. Before that, email us and we’ll refund you in full. If we cancel or reschedule an event, you get a full refund or a spot at the new date — your choice.
Events can move or change. We post updates on Instagram first, so follow @nysalsacompany if you want to know straight away.
At the event
Our events are held at a range of venues across New York City, each with its own house rules, and some are 21+. Bring ID. Be decent to the other dancers, the staff and the space — we reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone behaving badly, without a refund.
Privacy
When you RSVP we collect your name, email address and — if you give it — your phone number. We use them to manage attendance for that event and to reach you about it if something changes. Nothing more.
Payments are processed by Stripe; your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Analytics, cookies & advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies, including analytics and advertising tools, to understand site usage, measure campaign performance, and improve our website and services. We may use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand website traffic and evaluate our advertising, and we use Google Ads conversion tracking, which uses cookies including _gcl_aw and _gcl_au to measure whether visits from our ads result in RSVPs or purchases.
We also use our own first-party analytics to measure how our pages perform. This uses a randomly generated identifier stored in your browser to distinguish visits and sessions; we do not collect or store your IP address for this analytics.
We do not share your name or email with third parties except as needed to process payments through Stripe, run the events you sign up for, operate analytics and advertising tools, or comply with legal obligations.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect certain site features.
